A very successful summer school was held on Ickwell Green and was greatly enjoyed by all the young players who attended.
The summer school was open to boys and girls between the ages of nine and fifteen. Over the five days more than fifty youngsters attended.
In a well organised event the Ickwell coaches Daniel Szwajbak, Jay Szwajbak, Andrew Taylor, Ross Fensome and Harrison Webb put the young cricketers through their paces with a variety of coaching drills and various games.
Geoff May supported the coaches and acted as a coordinator to collect the details and send out application forms for enrolment.

It was a great to see all these youngsters, (and the coaches!), thoroughly enjoying their week on the Green. Thanks to all the young cricketers who took part. A similar event is planned for next year.

A special thanks to all the coaches who gave up their time to participate and also to everyone else in the club who supported this event.
